While the National Examination Agency has canceled the UGC NET exam, there are many exams whose dates have been extended. But there is talk of Bihar’s connection in the NEET UG case. Even before this, the state has been in the news for many exam leaks.
Bihar’s second competency examination has been postponed to 26-28 June. However, the reason behind this is said to be two exams being held on the same day. The new dates for this exam will be announced very soon. The second phase of the competency examination will be conducted online. In the first phase, some teachers faced difficulties in taking the online exam.
Sikandar was caught from Bihar
After the NEET UG exam case was filed in the Supreme Court, many questions are being raised on the functioning of the National Testing Agency. Bihar Police has arrested Sikandar Kumar Yadavendu in the paper leak case. The investigation revealed that the leak was not limited to Patna only, but was spread till Ranchi.
Sikandar’s solver gang was active in many states. Investigation revealed that the question paper of NEET exam had reached the NHAI guest house in Patna before the exam. Sikandar and his gang members had also provided this paper to many candidates in Ranchi. Bihar Police is investigating the entire matter. It is possible that many more people may be arrested in this case.
Many papers have been leaked earlier also
Some time ago, the paper of Bihar Police Recruitment Examination went viral on social media. After which the police had registered a case against many people in the matter. Also this examination was canceled. Apart from this, Bihar Civil Services Examination has also been canceled due to paper leak in the year 2022. Apart from these, Bihar Staff Selection Commission Examination 2017, Bihar Staff Selection Commission Inter Level Examination 2017 etc. have also become victims of paper leak.
Apart from competitive exams, cases of paper leak in 10th and 12th exams have become a topic of discussion many times in the state. Although the government is taking the incidents of paper leak seriously. But this trend is not stopping. The cases of paper leak in the country are somehow connected to Bihar.
ugc net cancellation
The recently held UGC NET exam has been cancelled due to paper leak. According to the agency, the exam paper was leaked on the dark net. After which it was decided to cancel it. About 09 lakh candidates appeared in this exam. Now the candidates are waiting for the new date of the exam.
CSIR NET exam postponed
CSIR NET June 2024 exam has been postponed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notification in this regard. The exam was scheduled to be held from 25 to 27 June 2024 at various exam centers across the country. New exam dates will be announced soon.
